Geoff Anfuso is responsible for debt capital placement and related corporate finance activity for new and existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2022, Mr. Anfuso worked at New State Capital Partners. Mr. Anfuso holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
Dave Aroesty is responsible for evaluating operational turnaround opportunities in the hospitality industry and other sectors in which real estate provides a strong element of downside protection to the investment thesis. He is member of the group responsible for the acquisitions and operations of Platinum Equity’s hotel platform. Dr. Aroesty joined Platinum in 2008 and previously graduated magna cum laude from Princeton with a degree in economics. He then graduated from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and went on to become a practicing head and neck surgeon prior to joining Platinum.
Craig Ashmore is responsible for senior level business development activities focused on identifying new acquisition opportunities. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2014, Mr. Ashmore was Executive Vice President of Planning and Development at Emerson (NYSE:EMR). In that role he had responsibility for Emerson's mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning and corporate technology functions as well as Emerson Network Power's connectivity solutions business. He was a member of Emerson's Office of the Chief Executive.
Ali Bajwa is responsible for managing the transition of newly acquired companies into Platinum Equity’s portfolio. He also has responsibilities related to post-transition monitoring and oversight of operational performance at certain portfolio companies. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2016, Mr. Bajwa held positions at Motorola and PwC where he focused on performance improvement initiatives, acquisition integration and divestiture management strategies for private equity portfolio companies and Fortune 500 businesses. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business (Accounting and Finance) from Indiana University.
Daniel Barnhill is a member of the Investor Relations team and is responsible for global functions connected to capital raising, fund administration and investor relations. Mr. Barnhill joined Platinum Equity in 2012. Mr. Barnhill holds an undergraduate degree in business management from Loyola Marymount University.
Mark Barnhill manages functions connected to capital raising, fund administration, investor relations and corporate and external affairs for Platinum Equity and Platinum Equity Capital Partners. Mr. Barnhill is responsible for strategic planning and administration of the firm’s private equity fund vehicles. He leads Platinum’s capital raising activities and is its senior relationship manager with investors, who comprise a diverse cross-section of public and private pension funds, financial institutions, foundations and family offices in North America, Europe and Asia.
Stephanie Barter oversees Platinum Equity’s in-house M&A Operations group, a team comprising functional experts across a wide range of operational disciplines that conducts due diligence on prospective acquisitions. She works closely with Platinum Equity’s M&A teams to deploy diligence resources and ensure that a comprehensive analysis of each prospective investment is completed. Based on the knowledge acquired during diligence, the M&A Operations team also works hand-in-hand with Platinum Equity’s Portfolio Operations group to develop detailed post-acquisition transition, integration and long-term business plans tailored to the needs of the acquired business.
A member of Platinum Equity’s M&A Operations team, Eric Berlin specializes in commercial and operational due diligence for credit investments. In that capacity he is responsible for the development and monitoring of post-acquisition transition and value creation plans. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2018, Mr. Berlin served as Senior Operating Executive at Cerberus Capital, and Director at AlixPartners. He also held roles at Exxon Chemical Company and Bain & Company. Mr. Berlin holds an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering cum laude from Princeton University, and a Master’s of Business Administration with honors from The Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
Lindsay Calautti is the Global Head of Human Capital for Platinum Equity Advisors. She is responsible for the firm’s human capital activities including recruiting, retention, training & professional development, and the employee workplace experience across Platinum Equity’s global network. Ms. Calautti is the Chair of the Platinum Equity Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2023, Ms. Calautti was the Head of Human Resources for Global Markets at RBC Capital Markets and held positions both in HR and in Fixed Income at RBC Capital Markets and TD Securities. Ms. Calautti holds a Bachelor’s degree from The College of St. Rose and a Master’s Degree from Harvard University.
Igor Chacartegui is responsible for the structuring and execution of European acquisition and divestiture transactions. Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2017, Mr. Chacartegui held a 7 year career at The Gores Group where he was a Managing Director based in London. Mr. Chacartegui also previously worked as a Vice President at Providence Equity Partners and M&A analyst at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Chacartegui holds a MSc. in business and finance from University of Deusto.
